My name is Goldie Curry. I currently live in Petaluma, California with my husband of fifteen years, Jeffrey Weiss. After retiring twelve years ago, from being a Director of an integrated liberal arts program for grades K-8 with an emphasis on project based learning in Sebastopol, California, I have been volunteering for a non-profit Awakening Wisdom for five years, becoming a hospice volunteer, getting certified for Sonoma County as an emergency preparedness volunteer, and working as a life coach.
In recent years,nI committed to joined TATE, The Alliance of Transforming Education. With a Masters in Human Development from Pacific Oaks College, a Masters in Administration from San Francisco State, a teaching career of over 25 years in Special Education (birth through college) and seven years in administration both at the site level and county levels, I bring a wealth of knowledge to our group. I have been following this mission of making a difference and transforming schools for my entire career. I am proud to say this continues to be the driving force in my life and working with like minded and heart minded colleagues ignites my personal goals and brings purpose and joy in my life.
